     Aegisub is pretty handy. You can do everything with them. Typesetting, timing and so on.

        I’m sorry to hear that one person is sick. But i can’t see how that delays everything for 2 weeks sorry. The thing is that all us outsiders feel even more outside, when all Japanese-speaking people can watch the whole thing since Jan. 1st. And we have to wait months to see it

          I feel your pain dude. lol
          Even though I don’t mind waiting it is funny that this year there are 7 people working on the subs but they are slower than past subbers such as blackgaki, shibatabread and even zurui and those guys either did everything on their own or with one or two people helping.
          But hey….. as the saying goes beggars can’t be choosers.

            ofcourse we can’t demand to much. I am very thankfull that they are doing work for people that aren’t able to speak japanese. I’m just thinking that it’s getting to the point where i don’t even seem impatient, while asking for a new part

    yeah; its without a doubt that its taking too long and the people working on it feel bad that it has to be this way. but theres no helping it— even though my japanese is elementary, being able to watch the whole series day one, having a gist of what they are talking about–makes it pretty funny in the natural japanese sense. of course when i dont know what they are talking about (SPOILER: the gossip sequence with all the comedians END SPOILER), i feel like im missing out then.

    This is from mickstar (the translator) himself:

    “Hey guys, first of all, let me just say Thank you so much for your patience and kind words. I bring to you good and bad news. Bad news is that I will not be releasing a video for a minimum of 2 weeks due to the fact that I am still a little ill but also visiting Japan from tomorrow for personal and urgent reasons. However, to thank you guys (for the 100+ likes) I decided that it’s only fair that since we all love Gaki shows, I would buy a few products from the Gaki no Tsukai shop which is located in the NTV tower in Tokyo. When I get back, I will be doing a raffle for people and giving away these souvenirs. Expect the next video around February 15th.”
